About Silver City's Art Community

Silver City has been named as one of the "100 Best Art towns in America". The rapidly growing art community represents over 100 artists and dozens of galleries. Four gentle seasons and the scenic beauty of the Gila Wilderness provide the perfect setting for inspiration and creativity.

Silver City has been chosen as one of the first cities in New Mexico to be designated as an Arts & Cultural District, and will provide opportunities for Silver City to become part of a larger effort to promote our many cultural and heritage aspects to potential visitors.
